Cant code cause I dont know how, but give me the paint bucket and my eraser and have at you!
Works AWESOME! man you rock... can't think of anything, well maybe one idea, the logo that is next to amp the symbol, you could make that red (no signal) or green (good signal) or yellow (weak or intermit signal)to show whether you're connected to a source, and then just add that logo (maybe smaller) to other pages to show connectivity. Or heck make it a guage that looks like a gas tank or clock or something to show signal strength that way
AWESOME job, I think since you figured that out so fast that you should have a GPS program nailed from scratch in say what? 48 hrs? *snicker* j/k, Great work!

Actually you did mention that, but I don't really care for the airport signal strength icon, don't think it would look that good in AMP. but that's my opinionand I guess everyone has their own

When using your program, I was missing some functionality. Is it possible, when using an external application through your AMP plugin page, to create a floating menu what stays on top of everything? (or a litlle button) So you wil still be able to stop a song or ajust volume? Maybe make a preference for it, to show a vertical or horizontal menubar. And also make the postion free to choose. Its just a thought. I don't know if it is even possible or the amount of work what is involved.
Thanks verry much for your AMP. Keep up the good work
You could make a request after connecting to something you know is standard (Google is touchy since they route based on the country of origin, but how about mp3car?), then check the results against what you are expecting (use the header info rather than the body) and notify the user that it probably is a pay network.

Hey guys,, looking for opinions.. Where to put the "internet indicator" marker.. (for the main app)
I've tried top-left and top-right.. Those are the main places that has blank spots on every screen.. Does it look weird being to the right of the clock? It looks fine without the clock there.. but I can't tell how it looks with the clock. And on the left? I think it looks ok there too... What do you think?
Oh also.. What's the maximum signal strength you are getting? I top out at about 71-72 using a PowerBook G4, and I'm literally 3 feet from my 802.11g wireless router.

Looks Awesome! Exactly what I thought it should look like. I like it in the upper right, though my wife thought it would be easier while driving to see in the upper left, but upper right would be my choice. Also I would either disable during movie playback or make it an option to disable it during movie play back and or visual mode.
I have my G4 1.25 desktop on the other side of the house from the airport 802.11b and I get a signal strength of 35, while my neighbor's wireless shows up as 19
