EQ would be nice, maybe a side project until u can get some GPS stuff going, i say stop everything else to get the GPS portion of the program started/done.
Great Job on this Front End. I was playing with it today and is almost perfect. Do you know if there's a way to add a software based equalizer for the player? Thanks

Add another vote for me. I think an EQ would be good to have as well.EQ would be nice, maybe a side project until u can get some GPS stuff going
Another thing I'd like to bring back up is a tweak in how you select music to play. Any chance of making it work like an iPod (select a genre, or Artist or Album and it plays everything below that). I also think (and I know this has been discussed before) that you should add an Enter button and maybe just combine the play and pause button. Or have them both seperate. either way.
One other feature that would be nice for the music player would be to add a crossfader similar to the one in iTunes. That's a feature I always wished was on the iPod.
Two things that I would really like to see are Sirius and GPS
I was reading that GARMIN is making their nRoute software work on OSX. This would be an awesome app to incorporate into AMP. I have used alot of different mapping programs and this is in my opinion the best. Its versatility allows different types of users to use it, for example the program is great for turn by turn when i am in the city but also works great for tracking my path as i off road.
Here is a link of the article discussing OSX support

I dont have anything interesting to add about incorporating Sirius other than it would be AWESOME!!
Thanks for everyones hard work this App is Great!!
Raceer gifted a GPS, so if I can find some nice GPS software, I should be able to do something. I contacted the people at RouteBuddy to see what's going on, hopefully they'll have something nice to say.
Regarding Sirius and XM, and a lot of other requested hardwares, I'm all for it, but I'm not going to purchase the hardware/subscriptions to implement something I'll probably never use. Does Sirius even have hardware for the Mac?

Here is a thread on hooking up what i believe is the alpine sirius tuner to a windows based pc. At the end of the thread there seems to be someone interested in helping develop a mac version (they inserted their email). Perhaps they have some insite. If they do and you can get something going i would be willing to debug it for you or let you use my sirius alpine tuner to get that part of the program up and running.

hi
would it be possible to browse the lists with single click instead of double click?
the music browsing in amp is really dangerous in a car when driving,
i would guess to seperate the artist, album, lists view to a seperate browser screen
with a button to add/remove highlighted artist, album, song from an "on-the-fly" playlist, which contents are shown in the main music view ..
resuming play&shuffle mode when coming out of standby is also important
i found something interesting in the source...quickmenu? whats that? we need this![]()
I think a sync plug in would work good here because you could create special playlist for AMP at home and then just sync playlist to use while you're in the car...
