Cant code cause I dont know how, but give me the paint bucket and my eraser and have at you!
Ehm, has anyone here ever heard the word "copyright"? Is it really that difficult to make your own icons or use some that are available under free license?
ODBII support check in....

Really.. What's the point of your post?
Most icons out there suck. If I made my own, AMP would be the ugliest thing ever. I seriously doubt Apple cares if I use theirs, since I don't claim any "copyright" anywhere in my app, nor do I try to charge for it, etc.
But thanks anyways.

I just think it would add to the value of AMP, extremely.
Youd be lightyears ahead of most frontends in terms of capabilities.

lol.. Why don't you do some research and find out what hardware is Mac-compatible that can interface with OBDII, and find example code in Cocoa/Objective-C to get us a head start?

Hey!
I think they are both good ideas. Does anyone have an idea on how to implement "gestures"? Maybe you can look into it and see what you can come up with?
Also, does anyone feel up to the task of documenting AMP? Mainly the hidden features (like clicking the clock, album art, etc..)
I need some help here guysI'm a full time professional student, and I can't do all the legwork in addition to all the coding, etc, for this open-source project.
I don't mind implementing GPS - someone donated a GPS, and Bugbyte is doing a lot of digging around with different GPS softwares to see what works well. I don't mind doing OBDII, but someone needs to donate a Mac-compatible OBDII connected and help find some example code on how to interface with it. I don't mind doing a graphical EQ, but I could use some help finding good examples on how to extract and implant audio changes to the different bands when playing a music file through QuickTime. I'd love to make AMP work well with the NuL00Q/PowerMate, etc, and everything else. I really want it to be a good piece of software, but I'm really busy, in probably the hardest/most stressful type of professional school there is, and really could use a little help with some of the legwork/research/googleing![]()
