I've learned a few things Here is what I have now for the select bar

I've got it to render pretty damn fast, so it's completely usable, and I really like it. (the white part used to be a white->gray gradient, but it just was too slow and made it ugly to scroll)
This looks really sharp. I just about freaked when I couldn't find the AMP worklog threads. I am just commenting to let you know that I am looking forward to whatever you produce. Some kind of GPS that will interupt the music when announcing turns would be nice but I know that is a lot of development to come up with. Looking forward to AMP 2.0 and good luck.

Yeah, I'd love to help. Hit me up whenever. tom [at] pacyk.com

The blue gradient looks a lot sharper, but I would increase the height if you could. You may end up having to increase the margin around the top and bottom of the highlighted element, but right now, the text could use some "breathing space", so if you increased the top and bottom padding inside the gradient I think it would look killer.

I'm making an front end for media (music, games, video and photo) for Windows and Linux with BlitzMax, I would like to port it on mac, when I'll have one, and I think AMP was write in BlitzMax.

    Skinned!

This is what i'll be looking at now that it has started snowing here in Cleveland,OH. Just scale a picture of your choice to 850x500 and replace the background.png in AMP's contents folder.

Thanks for your great program Aychamo you keep saying your not good with the graphics part of this.
