Yes, everything including the MicroSD works out of the box. The gyro is very good too. Bluetooth is only 2.1, although I read from somewhere that it can be upgraded to 3.0 (problem is I can't remember where!)
The list price in the US is another reason why I picked the Acer - I think Asus HK is just too greedy as our list price is $100 more than the US.
VA panels, together with TN and IPS are the three commonly used LCD panels for laptops, TV etc. It has view angles similar to IPS.
Well i ordered one from tigerdirect.
Wow is all i can say. The screen is amazing. Ill try to post a mini review.
I order one from Frys, got mad and canceled.
Reconsidered, ordered through Amazon - They Canceled!
Bought one on eBay for $500 + $20shipping - A$$ canceled the order as soon as I bid.
Bought one on ebay for $510 incl shipping - CROSSING MY FINGERS!!!!

it helped me to score one at msrp.
Nice link! Im watching that for the docking station!!
Got it today, AWESOME!! Still finding my way around it. So far I've installed Rockplayer, streams divx/xvid from my home server through Tversity just fine.
glad you got one, any plans on putting it in your car?
No. Even though there's a Navigation app that has big buttons for car use, It's too big I think.
Another reason is charging. Apparently you can not charge it from a computer through USB, it must be plugged into the wall.
In general, battery life is pretty good. I've been playing with it pretty constantly and it goes for hours before charging. I'd say 5-6 easily. A few things I don't like, no USB on the tablet. Apparently there is on the dock but not on the tablet it's self. There's two input ports, microSD, and the proprietary connector on the bottom that connects the charger and the keyboard/dock. There's bluetooth and wifi but as far as ports, thats it.
Build quality, is probably a 7. Seems good and solid for the most part but the upper left hand corner of the screen seems loose. I can push on it and it moves a little.
Just got the FTOA downloaded and installed last night. Adds MyDesktop (splashtop) which I used on my iPhone so I didn't even need to change the server part, works very well. And MyCloud, which is ASUS cloud storage. I haven't used it yet. I've added a bunch of MP3's to amazon cloud, don't feel like moving it. MyNet which is an DLNA client. I have issues with it. I use Tveristy for media streaming. MyNet see's tveristy, connects but won't play divx/xvid. But if I connect to Tveristy though the browser then those video play just fine in either Rockplayer or Moboplayer.
Thanks for the information. I agree with you about it being too big, I just couldn't figure out any reasonable location to mount it. Charging is stupid as well, I am kind of irritated that they did not make it a standard cable. Looks like for any type of on the road use a dedicated car charger will have to be purchased.
I haven't done a whole lot with mine, I've been so busy at work. I wish there was a way to stream netflix with it...
