Due to the space constrain, I can only look at tablet between 5" to 7"
Any affordable tablet with docking station that is solid enough to use in car?
Dell Streak has docking station but it looks a bit fragile to me.
Galaxy Tab has docking station but the dock will be in portrait mode.
I do not need the phone function. I am going to use the tablet for music playback 90% of the time.
Will be good if i can use it for news/email/navigation too

I'm using a Viewsonic Viewpad7, don't know if you can buy a dock for it though, I've built my own, just about to fit it to the car, will post an update when it's installed. The USB and headphone jacks are both on the bottom when in landscape mode.
Viewpad7 is an ok tablet, has GPS and 3G, screen is the same res as Android phones though, so it's not as crisp, but does the job. Built-in browser is a bit chunky, but I installed DolphinHD and that runs a lot smoother. Got it from Amazon AU$450 delivered.
after trying out some tablets, I found that 5" too small for me
7" will be best....any new model out there with docking station?
Dell Streak 7 has car cradle, but no AV out on the cradle itself
Link to my install in my signature
i have the dell streak 7 and am installing it into my 06 tacoma, the media dock will work fine, it has power, Mp3 audio out, HDMI and usb, also it's pretty sturdy and you can find them on ebay for 30~35 bucks.
