How/where can i buy the .apk file? This tablet i have don't have access to the market..
I'm looking for an elegant frontent for my Viewpad 7 Android 2.2 car tablet project. Tonite I will test your app.
What's the difference between installing launcher or App? Which must I buy for a 100% time using in car?
Another question: I'd like to hide (or change color) the white status bar in my tablet, because is too bright at night. Is possible to do it with your app?
Thanks!

I agree, this is a great question. Could this be done over Ethernet or Wifi?
Ok so finally back from my little break. Ive got some good news and some not so good news...Good news is I put the Tablet version on the market and its working (for the most part, there is a couple small bugs that are known that i cant figure out). Now for the not so good news, while i am still gonna be working on this, im not going to be able to put as much time and effort in it as I was before, job is a lot more busy and im starting work on a game as well. So updates will be slow, but there will be updates still.
I just posted it on the market, so if you search for AndCar you might not find the tablet version (name is AndCar Tablet) quite yet but give it a day and it will show up. Also you need Android 3.0 in order to see it on the market. And Enjoy
So its gotten quite a few downloads, and im assuming that most are from here (since I havent really been promoting it) so what do those who got it think

I really like the app. It would be awesome if you could make it so I can say to play a certain album and not just a song in that album or to pick a genre to play. Sometimes I want my whole collection on shuffle and sometimes I just want to listen to a specific artist or a specific album. I am using it on the phone but will try the honey when I get home. All in all I really like it. The graphics needs some love but that will come in time. If you take a look at the free trial of centrafuse and see how it handles music that would be ideal as it has been the best for ease of use in a car that I have seen and used. Great work though, I was really wanting to do something like this but I am more of a network guru and not so much of a programmer. Awesome
Also, edit, if you can make this more robust and keep adding features to make it really compete with something like centrafuse and maybe more user adjustable ui features. I would easily pay 10-20 bucks for it or more.![]()

Is there a way to change the background? Can it integrate with tasker app? Tasker needs some pointers in order to integrate with other apps (calendar, email, etc.). I'd like to use tasker to start up a random video playlist everytime the IGN = ON, which is very usefull for the headrest mounted tablet used by my 3 year old (the 7 year old can choose her own, but I'd like to make it easy and interesting for the 3 year old).
I got both the std and the tablet version, haven't crashed with me yet, but it apparently doesn't respond to tasker's play/pause command either (like winamp android app does).
Thanks.
