Thread: Android Frontend App for tablets and phones

i just bought the app.
just did some preliminary testing. i am really liking it.
has me wanting to remove my carpc and try it as a full replacement.

im gonna try and convince my friends to get it.lol they dont have carpc/money/time/tech savyness .lol

i have a 1.5 android tablet in the closet somewhere, collecting dust, goign to see if i can revive it with this..

It works well on my viewpad, any thoughts on re-designing the UI so its a bit more friendly? Is there anyway of adding a button to open the applications window?

This may sound like a dumb question but, I have a galaxy nexus with ICS on it and will be using it with the android version of Mimics (if it ever comes out :-P). So my question is, since I will be using it with ICS, have a 720p display and will be using it with a 7" screen in my car, should I get the Phone version or the Tablet version? The reason I ask is I will not be using it on Gingerbread but it will be a phone and I will be using it not on a tablet but will have a 7" screen that can display 720p. I would like as much information as I can get on the screen but I don’t want it to be hard to use because there is too much. I guess I could buy both and try but I will only have use for one of them.

Any thoughts? Anyone wondering the same thing?

EDIT: Well the Tablet version didnt look right so I refunded it and got the Phone version and it looks good.

EDIT 2: Now it just needs Google music integration since I dont have any local music (no SD card on GNexus).

Is somebody out there who wants to take a short you tube video of "andCar"?

I had high hopes for this app. It unfortunatley seems to be abanded.
