how much of a pain would it be to get this tablet out daily if you do street park your car? Also are you using HDMI for audio?

No HDMI yet, but I'm thinking about it.
It's easy, but there is a provided cover to protect the sticky part from getting contaminated. No residues.on the tablet, but you cant forget the cover. I like it a lot because it looks very minimalistic and you can keep any hard cover - docks generally requires you to remove them first or the tablet wont fit and ThAT is.much more.of a hassle.

Yeah im definitely looking in to this. I just need to decide where I am going to steal audio from. Go the HDMI converter route or do this. http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...t=1#largeimage
Thanks for the research and pictures Hurst!
In-Car Navigation is very expensive and with the constant improvements being made to Google Maps with Navigation, spending $1000 or more on OEM solution is making less sense every 3-6 months.
Many cars are coming with Bluetooth included. I am sure one of two/three things will happen to me in the next 10-24 months:
That is -
Getting a older car and putting in a nicely optioned aftermarket HU with Bluetooth and using a 4.3"-7" Tablet for Multimedia and Navigation. Or a New sub Compact with OEM Bluetooth. In either case I will add my 8" Amplified SAS Tube to the mix, which will add some sorely needed bass, yet is easily removable, especially important for hatchbacks.
The tablet I am targeting since I don't qualify for a phone upgrade until May 2012, but want to experience the internet like I do at home or on my laptop; Is the Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 (US Version). Not too big, not too small either, easily visible from the driver's or pass seat. Its also affordable ($269).
Two problems I see that might be solved soon are -
Sirius Radio App doesn't work on the player and I'm not sure I can tether it to my feature phone (Pantech Link) for internet.
We'll see as I continue following its development, it was just released Oct. 16th.
