    zr2ee,
Keeping the navigation app opened (Waze or other), can you use the Next/Prev physical buttons to skip songs? Like not having to switch apps to do it?

you can if your using a stock audio source like the built in media player or FM radio. as you noticed with the video my built in media player would change songs with the hardware buttons even when i was in a different media program

Thank you for the video you posted today (Jan/25) also showing Waze.

I saw that unfortunately it loaded with wrong orientation and also had some low batt warnings.

I've opened a thread in Waze forum asking for help.
I will let you know of any workaround or configuration they suggest, if any.

    Thanks
Waze will load into landscape mode, however the first time it runs it always wants to orient to portrait mode. you have to open it, hit the home key and go back into it and then it will re-orient itself. i may be able to get it to re-default to landscape using a tasker like program. the battery warning is annoying but nothing that stops operation.

Have you gotten it installed yet, and done some day to day testing as you're driving.

The unit is installed and i have been using it for a week or so now, i have a video of it installed and running on the first post. it sounds good and i'm pleased with it, still need to set my mind on what navi and media program i want to use. i'm sure i'll figure that out over time, haven't used a lot of GPS but it seems quick to lock and accurate from what i have used.

I have been following Innotrends since the first announcement on Engadget in the fall last year. Its a pretty exciting project and although there are a couple others, Innotrends has captured my attention the most so far. I would have bought one on day 1, but I've been waiting for the faster unit.

Can you describe your thoughts on the speed of the unit? Not that I would want to, but for example, does it play angry birds at full speed? What about video files?

Also, they describe the unit as supporting "steering wheel control". Is this through a CANBUS connection? Have you tried this at all? Any luck with it?

It is ok .... it only comes with the slideme market (worthless) ... i mean even google maps when you open wants to download the text to voice service ... well it cant without the real android market ... imo it was a waste of money and I am sad .... on the other had the head unit is decent ... I would wait until the next one comes out and gets more suckers like me to waste their money on buying it first.

The speed is fine for everyday in car activities, i've never had a skip or pause while playing music and the navigation works fine. you'll find lag if your running lots of apps or downloads etc. but i wouldn't expect any less. i haven't tried any games on it as the screen isn't adequite, and i have yet to figure out how to play video's due to the park sensor issue i still need to resolve

i'm not sure what protocol this runs on and honestly i'm not too familiar with any of them, it's a 3 wire connection (green/purple/ground) i believe. i need to email innotrends and ask and do some more digging

I had to actually buy a decoder for mine ... but now that I think about it I might not have needed it. (I have yet to install it) basically on mine I wire the decoder into the steering wheel wiring harness and then the head unit into this. BUT the systems settings does have a programmable page where you hold down a button and then select what you want it to do (volume up skip ect) ... now I have not tried it out yet myself.

Bluetooth music is a very nice seamless feature ... once I throw on the android market that will be nice also. I tend to just use my mobile as a hotspot and then play everything through it. I was hoping for pandora radio to work out nice, but my connection always seems to lag even if I am on wifi =0/ If anyone needs pictures of anything let me know ill take my truck back apart next week ... I can't play DVDs in park or drive right now and I need to install the steering wheel controls (apparently i use them more then I thought I keep reaching at them lol).
