    apps for cars

    so after getting some help from hexxamillion (thanks ) and getting started with my samsung car project I would like to ask what apps people use in the car ,I am using carhome for the frontend and rocket player for music along woth navworld for my sat nav .

    what do you guys use and why

    I use Car home Ultra... Winamp for music and Google nav for GPS. I also have CoPilot as a backup GPS as it has offline maps.

    Torque is probably the best dashboard app for viewing OBD and accelerometer data. It also has a map mode and can calculate 0-60 times and horsepower.

    Is anybody using voice recognition? I want to be able to play tunes based on song, artist, album, random, all from voice. I'd also like to fire up GPS, and anything else I can think of. Basically a Siri for the CarPC. Anything like that?

    Would be nice, but I wouldn't expect reliable recognition from an internal mic over road noise, music etc. Would need a good external mic, which only some tablets support.
