There is a youtube video of a guy with one. Looks really clean and factory. I think he used galaxy tab

I saw that, actually tore my dash apart yesterday, which is insanely easy in a mustang. The way he has it mounted is gonna be very easy. Honestly probably one of the easiest dashes I have seen for a tablet install. Unless I run into some problems I'll get it done today. Would have done it yesterday, but the board on the back of the panel for the radio faceplate requires a torx bit screwdriver that I don't haveI wish I knew what the guy on youtube used to trim around the square he cut out, thats the only part I dont have figured out yet.
And I really apologize for getting this done so slowly, trying to balance a busy work schedule with time to do this is tough.
Not very exciting, but I snapped a few pics when I pulled the panels off today.
Pic of the new faceplate that isnt cut yet.
Center Console Removed. Extremely easy, unscrew shift knob and pull it up.
Faceplate for radio removed. Also very easy (2) 7mm screws at bottom and it pops off.
Back of the faceplate has a board connected to it that plugs into the headunit. The board is held on by torx bit screws, gonna hit up advance auto in the morning and get this done. Hopefully more exciting pics incoming today![]()
Any news?
I've got an '05 that I'm deciding between a N7 or computer install..
