G1 USB Tethering Made Easy

Hey guys,

I've seen a few tethering apps around, but I found one that I find to be really useful.

It's a USB tether application that does not require rooted, hacked, or socketed phone/browser. As far as I can tell it's a 1:1 data link (passes regular packets straight through to your computer).

I was using Tetherbot, but it didn't seem to work with Ride Runner too well. This app has worked almost flawlessly (except Radar, but that might not be a phone issue). The install was painless and only took about 30 seconds.

I'll be using this to connect my carcomputer to 3G.

I found it awhile ago when I had a Palm.

I was surprised that more people don't know about it for Android.

Ive been using PDAnet with my droid for awhile now. Just noticed the added a PDAnet SMS agent with the last update. Now if someone could embed this into roadrunner with a skin for elite lite............
