EDIT: It looks like my RCD-510 screen has a pretty decent resolution. I think I read that the RCD-510 may have come in a higher resolution version and a lower resolution version. Either way, I'm pretty happy with the resolution and I'm going to try my hardest to make the RCD-510 work.

There are a few "stock" looking OEM replacements that have double the resolution for about $350. They are designed to use all you factory harness cables so they are completely plug and play. We have one for your vehicle, its not quite 100% stock looking but you do get a 8" screen and you wont loose any factory vehicle function as its 100% plug and play. Its not an aftermarket 2-din headunit.

If you still want to use your stock headunit, then you will need the converter from the above link you sent. :)

We don't have any kits for any Mazdas yet.. Toyota, BMW, Mercedes, AUDI, Jaguar, Nissan we do though.

Also, if I am able to figure out the video input to my stock unit, then you will sell just the touch screen bluetooth controller right?

Does the bluetooth touch screen controller requre any app to run on an android phone? I'm probably going to pick up a galaxy s2

Yes, an app is required for calibration and other stuff :) You are right, once you sort out the video only the MimicsX2 is required.

Here's a pic of the 8" VW OEM replacement. The plastic trim matches your OEM and is 100% plug n play.

Due to the ICS/Jellybean issue with the old one (as it was gingabread only) we can do that for you.. and the rest.

We tested the HTC EVO 4G (LTE) and thats fine, but cant confirm yours yet. But "generally" speaking ICS brings lots of new feature so it might work..

At the moment no, we need to make a special adapter like we did on the original Appradio (protoype only)
So its 100% possible but not on our priority list the moment, but its on there.

Meh, that looks like the cheap ones on ebay. haven't heard good reviews on them. I will still stick with getting my rcd-510 to work.

Do you have any idea of pricing on the MimicsX2?

Didn't know you could buy this off ebay, not that I can see anyway :)
I was just looking at some OEM replacement LCD touchscreen for your vehicle. Same are 4-pin and some are 8-pin (8 into 4). Can you check which one you have when you get the chance? If you have the 8-pin i will need to make a special adapter... I know I got a request for this before... Might have to actually make it now I think..
