We could make a 3-way switcher, though not sure there will be enough demand for it. If you get really stuck we could help you with a 3-way selector if you like.
I can probably manage the 3 way switcher. How much is just the bluetooth controller going to cost?

    Hi!

I have a Chinese touch screen double din radio in my car. Do you think I could the switch and use the Bluetooth module?

    Any ideas?

    Hi,
Yes you sure can. You just need to try a HDMI to A/V converter, if you happy with how the phone is displayed on your screen then the rest is not that difficult. You do need to open up your headunit though.

Have a look at the latest mimics manual as it shows you how everything connects. The installation diagram is almost the same as the Android version.

At any point will there be one unit compatible with both Android & the iPhone? I have an Android phone now but might go back to the iPhone in the future.

    This is awesome work!

Before I pre-order, is the glass resistive, capacitive, or multi-touch? Have you tested pairing bluetooth to the touchscreen and pairing to a bluetooth audio receiver, both at the same time? Are there any hick-ups in the audio or touchscreen performance when both paired, particularly with the Galaxy S II?

The touchscreens are 4-wire resistive to be compatible with most OEM systems. From the tests we have performed on the SGSII you can have bluetooth remote touch, A2DP and a BT car kit paired up at the same time without any issues in audio skipping or losing touch.

    So no hick-ups.

And plans in the future to use the capacitive multitouch glass in your other project and integrate it with this Android system? I think only then will it be the ANDROID ULTIMATE IN-CAR SYSTEM!

What monitor you recommend for best fit with the glass, particularly the 8" one?
