Hi, sorry for the misunderstanding.. I meant that we have new ideas/developments in the works but we haven't delayed shipments due to the new ideas. I was just trying to imply that it will be a huge waste if we dont commit to our current orders, which will definitely lower interest of our new product/s.

Also, Dave convinced me to buy a new ver.2 lcd controller that was smaller because he had a mounting plate for that version. So another $70 + spent in preparation for this project and now we get radio silence. I really don't understand why we get little to no communication.

Now I have 2 lcd controllers, 1 lcd, an expensive dash kit, cables, ect just all sitting around waiting on this project.
    Shaxs,
I do feel quite terrible what has happened with project, but as as stated in the email reply I will be sending your order first thing on monday. I get lots of emails and sometimes it is hard to reply to every signal email in a timely matter especially now after various complaints.

Has this customer been sent his mimics module yet? Do you know when others can expect to have theirs shipped?

Dave contacted me this weekend and says that orders have begun to ship and we should start seeing people respond on this board. The website now states a 3-5 day ship time from order. Can anybody confirm they received a tracking number for shipment or they have received their order yet?

    Hey Dave,

Order #000154 here. Would have been great if you could have just said, "I don't know when I am going to be able to ship" instead of, "Will ship before Christmas" and then stop answering emails.

And then don't respond to the Paypal refund request.

And then deny the Paypal refund request.

Delays happen, I understand. You need to learn to communicate honestly with your customers a little bit better. I want my unit eventually (I am patient; I can wait), and reassurance that you're not going to just take the money and run. That is preferable to having it sooner, and not knowing.

A good example is these guys on kickstarter:

    http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...er-pocket-acce

    http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...ket-acce/posts

I got SO MANY emails from these guys over every tiny product update. But, when their release date slipped, I had no worries whatsoever; these guys seemed really legit due to the incredible level of transparency.

Please consider a bit of this kind of transparency, and perhaps you'll keep some of your customers.

    Hi,
We have been shipping slowly for a few weeks already. Im surprised no one here that got one has spoken up. I know for a fact that there a few guys here that already got it and more will get it soon. And another batch is getting shipped out by the end of the week so I will be sure to include you in that batch. I think you might be already in the next shipment.

We haven't "stopped" replying to emails, I have personally replied to thousands of email already.. We know everyone likes "personalized" and do our best to achieve that. Sory to all those we have overlooked.

Not that it matters much to the people that are eagerly awaiting, but here is the latest manual :
    MimicsX2Manual

I hope this will keep your faith and spirits up for another week....

    Dave,

Thanks for the reply. This does assuage my concerns a bit.

However, I think you still misunderstand my point. I understand that you're a small company and that you can't respond to every one of the thousands of emails you get. But, to that I say, mass emails with progress updates would be fine for me, and probably many of your other customers.

Something like, "Hey guys, sorry for all the issues, and all the emails I didn't have time to reply to personally. We've started shipping now; check the website to see if your order's been updated." would be a huge improvement over trying to find this forum thread to get ahold of what is going on with the orders. That way, we as customers know what's going on, and you can spend more time running your business instead of responding to emails.
