No you do not need to wake your phone. Tasker lurks in the background and as soon as the bluetooth connection is detected, it will launch what it needs to. You can have tasker set to auto launch an audio app you chose when it sees the connection as well. Similar how in m video is launched button savior and Car Dashboard.

cool setup Shaxs!! Hopefully netgear can fix that overscan issue and the long boot time. Does it feel like the video lags too much with Miracast then a direct hdmi connection?

Actually I was able to get it working on two tvs by setting the aspect ration to Auto. It doenst, however, work on my 7" Transflective LCD unfortunately. I am trying to see if I can find a way to fix that.

The long boot time is not something that can be fixed too much. You have to wait for the Miracast adapter to be full booted and ready to connect before launching the AllShare service. And you MUST keep the AllShare service settings up as well until after it connects or it fails. So not a whole lot you can do to lower that. It is a fixed time (mostly).

These two issues may just cause me to stick with a MHL adapter.

How can the product I've been waiting for on for months be listed with a lead time of 7-10 days and I still don't have mine? It's been 6 months since the pre-order and feedback has just gotten worse and worse to non-existent.

I'm normally very patient on purchases like these if I'm provided accurate status updates. In this case status updates are rare and hardly accurate. I would think twice, three, or 4 times before purchasing from this outfit.

I just don't get it. How hard is it to setup a single webpage that list order numbers and ship dates? Instead we get messages they can't keep up with email. Geez, just make a status page. I requested a refund and was told my unit was in the next batch. So any news? Nope.

I'm sick sick of it. Please refund order #122 ASAP

I agree....

I am Order #14 (Ordered Nov 2011), requested a refund this January and I dont have the module or my money and lots of emails saying by the end of the week, by the end of the month, by christmas.. you name it... I ordered a display, spent a whole bunch of hours and material building my enclosure for the display, mounted it in the car, everyday I see it and it ****es me off...

I was really excited about this thing when I saw it announced...
