    I was told several times my unit was shipping soon or in the next batch. I still haven't received a refund.

    This has been the biggest scam or the worst job of communication by seller. Updating a webpage or maintaining a mailing list or posting here just is not that hard. Even though paypal won't do anything after 45 days, they claim to keep a record of the issue. If there are enough complaints, they may do something like shutdown the seller.

    All I can say to anyone ordering this product is this guy Dave who runs this operation is either a fraud or a completely irresponsible business man. I ordered the MimicsX2 whatever back in January 2013 only to receive promises of delivery in a week then oh I've been busy and forgot about you to, I've got your package right in front of me waiting to go to the postal carrier. Lately the lie has been to send me a tracking number by email to an Australian postal carrier but the number tracks to nothing. It is now April 14, 2013

    I even told this guy that I would search this product and warn all who are considering ordering from this company/guy Customgadz/Dave. I am sick and tired of dealing with this guy.

    I have all the email correspondence with verifiable proof of this guys fraud or lies or whatever kind of business this guy is running. I don't know how they do business in Australia but anywhere else in the world these kind practices would put you out of business. and I am considering posting it on the net make it searchable for others to see the method of lies he tells to the unsuspecting.

    Don't get me wrong Dave has answered some, not all email correspondence and he has been most cordial. I want to be sweet talked out of my money as badly as I want to be a victim of armed robbery. Which is honestly what this is starting to feel like. I don't know what recourse I have due to being on two different continents.

    Since I lost my money I hope my story saves someone else from the same fate.
    No MimicsX2, no money no way to get JUSTICE!

    This is some B.S. Dave!

    SO FAIR WARNING TO ALL CONSIDERING ORDERING THIS PRODUCT.

    If this guy sends my merchandise I will update my post. But the fact remains about the blatant lies and bad business this guy Dave has presented thus far.

    Well I was gonna jump the gun on buying my mimic and touchscreen from the customgadz.com, but is that a bad idea as of now due to the delays?

The end supplier (customgadz) bears all the complaints that are a result of our lazy programmers and discontinued parts issues. As you might know many people have received the mimics and got it working successfully. It's a real shame that a few of our team have let us down.. Saying that, we are still determined and pushing our product as much as we can as we have lots of upcoming features and products.

    It's very painful for us even time we get a customer complaint. I hope you can understand.

    Anyway, we have granted your refund so you shouldn't be out of pocket. please follow our YouTube videos for our latest creations. We have highly innovative team that have created many "world first" ideas.

    Lame excuses. The guy who takes the money always bears all the complaints. He is the seller and I don't care about his sub-contractors even though I would take status updates of subs into consideration.

    The end supplier is responsible
    - they are not refunding money they have taken in
    - they hired the "lazy" programers
    - they selected obsolete parts
    - they are providing NO ACCURATE status and I would say borderline outright lying. My unit was not in the next shipment. It did not go out next week. My refund did not arrive in 1 week if every. etc etc they website.

    What burns me the most if these people are really trying to be professional, why in the &(*&)* are they still taking orders and claiming "Ships in 3-5 days". If they had any decency, they'd update their website, show all items out of stock, and focus on open orders and cancellations. If they are taking new orders to pay for cancellations, that's pathetic.

    Scam or amateurs, I don't know, but unacceptable.

    This should be considered mail fraud and contact the US postal service for suggestions. It may be possible if a number of people file complaints against them that paypal may be required to return the funds and shut down their store since they are not fulfilling their obligations.

    I am sorry people are having trouble with this product and seller. I actually have mine (as posted in a previous post with video). Today I am making more progress. I have integrated the capactive screen, controller, and mimics into the dash piece that will be going into my car. I used a Nexus 7 anti-glare screen protector and cut it to fit on the screen. I really hope I never have to replace the screen protector as the lcd is silcone caulked to a faceplate in order to fill the hole in the dash kit properly. Probably should have thought that through more.

    Shackis ... what's the capcitive screen you're using ?

    I hope this project is not dead ( although there seems to be some hick ups) as I really want one of these units.

    There are no real options out there for use Android users which is shamful and supprising especially considering how so simple the concept can be.
