What monitor you recommend for best fit with the glass, particularly the 8" one?
Haha, ok.. You got me there. I will rename it to the "Android SEMI-ULTIMATE in-car system"

    Capacitive?

The 8" touchscreen we have is basically an 16:9 8". So any 16:9 8" monitor will work. If your monitor already has a touchscreen, you can use that instead.

Wait, so the glass you are giving is capacitive? If so I would like to change my order to get the glass rather then the switcher. I only picked the switcher because I have a resistive overlay from my screen and I figured I could always add my PC back in later if I wanted to. But if you are giving a clear capacitive glass then I would much rather have that.

    P.S. and release date update?

The glass Im giving is resistive not capacitive, a little misunderstanding from the previous post . Capacitive is possible but not ready.

Release will be very soon, can't say an exact date yet, but will be soon after the start of December.

I was looking for a way to connect an android phone to a car touch screen, the Mimics module and my car speakers/amp all wirelessly. (allowing me to keep my phone in my pocket while driving) The hard part was finding a way to do HDMI mirroring wirelessly. I think I found a solution. Thoughts...? Will this work with Liliput screens w/ HDMI and the Mimics module?

    Hi, all!

I find this mirroring function very exciting. But I have a question. I see that I can switch between my regular ford display and android os from my phone with the device. But will the stock touch screen navigation screen that come on these 2011 ford f150 support those gestures you are doing in the videos? The swipe of the finger for Home, Menu and just simply swiping between screens.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a cool idea, wonder when/if its going to be on sale.

Can't see why it wouldnt work, the only thing is not sure how long your battery will last if everythings "wireless".

    Hi,
We are having a slight delay in getting the boards made. Our manufacturer is really busy this time of year, and they estimate it will be a further 2 weeks. We are pushing them as hard as we can. After they are complete will will need to do the final test and update to the latest firmware revision, and this will be a few more days after that.

We hope you can understand and hold on for a bit longer.

Quick question about connectivity. Can this be used with a BT Serial port at the same time? The reason I ask is I am considering looking into conecting the HDzoom HD radio to the phone through BT so I can have HD radio if I am in a area that has bad reception. I have found some info on how to comunicate with it through serial and I would assume it can be done from a phone with the proper code. I am looking into using this product as it will give access to UART and IO ports through the same connection that might be able to be connected to steering wheel controls. Or for an even cheaper option something like this.
