This "customer" has never purchased, emailed and has no intention of buying from us. He is working a vaguely "similar" product which might explain his dis interest in our business. He's mainly summarizing and modifying other peoples (and our) posts to make for an interesting read.

So please don't refer to him as a customer as he is clearly not

These percentages wont mean much as it will probably be < 1% since some customers order 1pc and some order 10's of pieces. So will have to break it down to single purchase customers. Then to make it even better I would need to break it down to mp3car customers. It is very hard to link a mp3car member user ID to an order number, so not sure how to make some "useful" information.

If you need to know how many we have shipped this week, its about 11 orders. Obviously the amount of mimics pcs actually shipped is much greater than the No. of orders. Not everyone orders only 1pc. More should be shipped by the end of the week also.

I recall about 3 refunds were done (last 7 days) too.

Hmm, If you are referring to me... I originally read this thread thinking this would be a very cool addition to my vehicle and ALMOST ordered one until I got to the threads about the deceit. I have never twisted anything or tried to misrepresent anything. You say things that go 100% against what multiple people in this thread have said. All I have said is go back and re-read the thread and it conflicts with the vast majority of what Dave has said. I have made assumptions based on the information given here and have stated that those are in fact my assumptions without direct knowledge.

I am going solely off what has been said here by customers that have actually sent money in one form or another. If I had not read the thread in its entirety then I could have very well been one of the poor souls talking about how I was taken advantage of. Luckily I did not "pull the trigger" and do this. It totally amazes me that Dave continues to give information that is in direct conflict with those customers that haven't received any product or refunds and the responses given don't make sense when compared against the quotes from emails and the information given by other members.

I WAS a POTENTIAL customer... And it is in my nature to call out a scammer to prevent honest people from being taken advantage of. And as of this date from the information given by MANY users here, until proven otherwise, Dave has operated in a questionable manner that can be called nothing but deceitful and dishonest.

Problem is Dave, if you were honest from the beginning and posted status updates on your site (Which is EASY to do...) You would have never been put into a negative spotlight like this. You could have put people into a mailing list and given statuses to everyone at the same time. You should have provided honest response times on your site and not taken orders when you could not fulfill them. And once you knew you had product problems you should have told your customers the problems and given them the option of an immediate refund at any point. I would have purchased ATLEAST one and likely 2 -3 of these for some installs I am doing but I don't trust anything you touch because of the experiences shared by MANY members in this thread. Misleading your customers by telling them the product has shipped and giving a false tracking number is certainly deceitful as is telling people you have refunded their money when you haven't. These are not me twisting things around. These are examples that were given by more than one member here. If you had mentioned from day one that you were swamped with orders members would have understood.

Can you please provide evidence of this "response" of me saying that I have said that "everyone has got their products and refund"?

From what I can see this translates to that I have told "MANY" customers that "I shipped" the product when in fact I didn't. At least one quote evidence is fine for this.

Deceitful yes, but I never said this. I would like to see evidence of this one.

This one tops the list. I have never ever said to any customer that I refunded them when I didn't.

Ok.. I will sit back and give you the benefit of the doubt. I have provided 4 examples of you consistently providing "incorrect" information.
Can you please back up all these statement from these "more than one members" by actual "quotes" to prove that your statements are actually valid?
P.S. Please don't summarize quotes into your own words, provide exact references just like I did

To be frank, if a customer complains for any reason thats fine as long as its based from their own experience. I learn a lot from all feedback good/bad, it helps future customers and product improvements. It help the team also.

    Thx.

Don't mean to skew your numbers but that would imply months if not years of back orders if you truly filing at 1 % of mimics a week. Since I'm lower priority (refund) then orders, I'm even more worse off.

I won't comment further until you clarify, but I find this disturbing

Sorry that I didn't clarify it enough.. We are currently shipping at a rate of ~20% of our remaining orders. So where did 1 % come from? I was trying to say that out of all the mimics (actual modules - not individual orders) that are left to be shipped is a very small percentage. This is due to the other bulk orders. Maybe I over complicated things a bit.. sorry.

.. Anyway, as stated on our website we anticipate and are well on track to ship every single order by the end of next month. That also applies to the refunds also. Not sure what else I can say

that helps. I don't check the website often for various reasons but am glad it is being updated.

A couple things from my perspective:

    1) I had originally found out about this product from a reseller on a Pontiac G8 forum, from the looks of it, he would order mimics, and put together a kit with things that helped install it in a G8, so to those who doubt the "bulk order" thing, I can vouch that i've seen people who do that sort of thing with mimics.
    2) RedHeadedRod, i'm tired of seeing your worthless posts in my notification inbox. You didn't order the product, you're not one of the ones who have been waiting for it after ordering, so don't pretend to speak for those of us that have. Please, just stop wasting dave's time with responding to your posts, and stop wasting my time having to check this thread for posts that are essentially worthless.

I will refrain from any further comment. I have already said my piece and the thread otherwise speaks for its self. Anyone that reads this thread should know by now that they are gambling if they deal with Dave both from the words of others and from Dave regardless of anything I have said. Personally I think there is enough information here that the moderators could lock any thread related to a customgadz device and ban Dave for questionable business practices and be fully in their right. But that of course is up to the management of this site. I will do my best to not participate any further since I have already wasted enough of my time. Just glad I read past the first couple pages before placing an order... And good luck to anyone who has dealt with Dave to this point.

No! Locking this thread or banning Dave would be the worst thing. I have 2 places where I have hope I am able to get my issue resolved. This forum being one of them. Taking that away would hurt me.

I could see putting a note in the first message of the thread but that's it.

The customgadz site is updated finally, so I see no harm.

For some reason my last post didn't get approved (not sure why). But I agree completely. And redheadedrod really needs to get out of this thread. Do not assume to speak for those of us that actually paid and have been waiting for this product. There's enough info in here already without you wasting dave's time and making it worse.
