Because, if I was to lend out my car and they wanted to use the system, which also has OBD2 and a few other devices, I don't have to worry about them needing to configure their phone to work with all the stuff in my car. Basically all I want to have the Nexus 4 do is provide phone and text (easily done via Tablet Talk) and data to the Car PC that sends out a connection via a Wireless N router. The Galaxy would do everything else like OBD2, and what not. I also want to buy 3 more Galaxy Nexus phones, with phone aspect shut off and use those for passengers, but use my own screens that will be integrated into the car. So say my car gets broken into, all they steal is a now useless screen, mean while the phones themselves are hidden in a safe place.

Seems like a sound plan! If you were to go the extra mile and get service for the hidden embedded phone, you could also enable geo-location and tracking which would in short allow you to locate your car at anytime. Kinda like the parent kid tracking apps except it'd be your car. Connect that with google now and navigation and it'd be sweet.

I'm going for dual boot windows 8 and Android via mimics x2. I'll update when I have time to work on it.

Just heard from Dave about the auto-connect thing. He says the latest firmware does support it. I'll mess around with it some more tonight, maybe i screwed something up. However, even before full calibration, i've got to say that i'm really liking this so far. It's working extremely well.

    Hi guys,
Im here.. Just didnt get a email notification for some reason (as usual)

Ok, The auto-pairing issue should work perfect. This was a issue before but had to do something sneaky to get it to work. If anyone is still have auto-pairing issue after updating to the latest firmware and after doing a "unpair" then repair let me know what phone/software you have and I will get it checked out.

Dave, while you are checking on that pairing issue, can you check on my refund? It's been two months since you agreed to refund me and about nine months since I placed my order...

    I want my refund today.

In another thread he mentions he dropped paypal for a local pay system. Maybe this is true or maybe paypal cancelled his account due to the number of refund requests and complaints... Of course Dave will never admit to anything other than he is using another service because it is cheaper...

Would be interesting to see how Dave will give refunds now...

Thanks for the info. When I tried to request a refund through Paypal, they said the order was too old BUT they did say they would note complaint. If there were multiple complaints, Paypal would take action. Makes one wonder if the order stoppage had to due with Paypal and nothing else.

I'm curious what he is taking payments for via another provider as he has said he was not taking new orders.

FYI. I was referring to "PayMate" if you go to their website you will see. Also, PayMate isn't even setup yet on our website! Also, Moneybookers doesn't work either and the only reason its viewable is because we updated the website and they require a default payment method.

I actually thought MoneyBookers (skrill) was based in Bulgaria and not US. I never said our "Australian" method was "MoneyBookers" did I??

P.S. You will get your refund before Mid next week for sure this time.
