Yes, you should be able to connect other bluetooth devices without any issues. Just try not to connect to many devices as you might notice some skipping while using A2DP (this depends on device used).
Thanks for the reply, I am not going to be using A2DP since I have to physicaly connect the MHL (galaxy S2 Skyrocket) anyway I am just going to strip the audio out and plug into the AUX in on the car. Any update on the shipping? Does it still look like 1 1/2 weeks or so?
Sorry I am a little slow and have a few questions... I have a 2011 Chrysler Town and country with all of the bells and whistles DVD entertainment system. From the factory I have multiple video inputs that are composite. I assume I can just tap one of the existing inputs but does that mean I just simply have to select that input to use this device to see my galaxy tab 10.1? Also how do I find out without ripping apart the dash to see what type of touchscreen cable I have for the switcher? I have the factory 430n head unit. And because I am using my tablet instead of my phone I assume my Bluetooth pairing will remain working for the factory hands free? Thanks and cool product!
I am ready to jump on two of these.
Are there any know issues with using my Sprint EVO 3D like there are with the EVO 4? Also are there any known issues with a using the touchscreen in a JVC KW-AVX800, which I have been JVC uses a 4wire panel?
Yes, it still a couple weeks away.. All the new switcher addons are ready, just waiting for production to finish.
For the video you just need to connect it to any of your AUX A/V inputs (some devices might require addition video converter). Most vehicles that I have seen have the type "A" 4-wire interface. I have seen some Acura's with type "B". If you car has a different type of 4-wire connector (rare) we will be happy to make an custom adaptor for you. If you use your tablet or your Android phone, you wont lose any factory bluetooth car-kit intergration. You phone will be able to pair up with Android touch module and your factory bluetooth carkit simultaneously with no problems.
We sent you a reply to this, not sure if you got it. Looks like the Sprint EVO 3D is compatible, we just need to confirm 100% with an actual handset. Your JVC headunit should be fine to use.
Im on skyrocket as well, just be careful test it with your screen. sGS2 kills audio on headphones if using mhl cable, unless edid on the screen tells it no audio.
Ive tested this on different monitors, and some it will push digital audio over hdmi, and some wont. Luckly im going into a dvi port on my screen, and audio is preserved on 3.5mm as im also using an aux in.
Thanks for the heads up, it may come in handy in the future, but I hope it does kill the 3.5 out as I dont want to have to plug in 2 items every time I get in the car. But the monitor I got has a DAC built in so it will give me the audio out through the monitor in analog format. I havnt tested because there is a little plug that needs to be made for it but others say it works fine. just the monitor I bought had some issue durring shipping and I am waiting on the replacement part before I start making cables and what not.

probably that one, 8838.com says it pass hdmi audio out as 2ch analog, haven't heard it being confirmed, but that hell of a deal, since even cheapest HDMI DAC are ~$100. I might jump on it myself
