    i hate to say it, but it appears a leopard does not seem to change its spots. I have had no response to any emails, no replacement and unfortunately I am afraid I will have to pursue a refund. I was desperately hoping to for a replacement and hoping that Dave would be true to his word. I think this product would be a great product if it came with peace of mind and the support it deserves. If it were a cheap product I would expect there would be thousands of people that may need support and it would be expected to take a little time. But this is a high end item and there is not that many people ordering them, so the lack of response is simply unacceptable. Your customers when happy are your best advertising and help to spread the word of your product and post in many of the forums. It is also a double edged sword and negatively effects your product and dissuades others from buying from you and supporting your product and negative comments travel like wildfire. Im sure there was a lot of development costs that went into this product and we all benefit with its continued success and improvements. Show your a man of your words and lets resolve this.

    a full 3 weeks has passed since Dave posted this, and to his credit, he did send me an email saying they just returned from China and he'll process the refund now, but that was also a week ago...

    Dave, when do you think I will see this refund?

    We sent you the replacement last week in the 11th.. I hope you got the shipment notification and tracking email. If you didn't receive the email please let me know and I can resend it for you.

    Feel free to go back and read the many messages in the thread. When i started reading this thread I was excited and was going to order the product. Then I got into the pages where for months he told lies and misled people. (Read the thread for yourself.) Personally if the unit was a $30 unit I would be gunshy but I wouldn't buy a box of paper towels from this guy. It seems to be very hit and miss and if you have issues with him good luck getting anything from him. It is true I am not a customer but as I said, read the thread, I work too hard for MY money to give it to such a questionable character and then pray I get my product and then pray it works as it is supposed to. Any problems and he has been known to stretch things out as long as possible. And with him being in Australia it isn't like you can drop by his office and complain.

    I notice you are in Michigan. What area? I am in the Grand Rapids area.

    If you claim that the MimicsX2 doesn't work as advertised then I am really offended. There are videos showing of the latest mimicsX2 working properly as described.
    Yes I admit that previously shipping has taken a while in the past, and some people have been waiting for their refunds, and we are sorry that we upset various customers.. Eventually they all got their product/refund or product. Yes, we also did upset many people along the way but in the end there has been peace most of the time.

    Its a long read to read all the history of this thread, but you will see that we had our ups and downs and we are doing our best to make everyone happy. Its best to read the quotes from actual customers as non customers tend to twist an highly exaggerate things somewhat and make us intentionally look bad. There are many examples of this.

    It's been a good 3 weeks since Dave said this, and to his credit, he actually did respond to an email and
    said they had just come back from China and will now process this refund. Unfortunately, I have yet to
    see anything in my PayPal account.
