Just for those who may be watching, Dave did finally come through and give me my refund.

It was unfortunate that the order processing did not meet the timeline I was expecting.
The technology is definitely interesting so I hope it works out better for others out there.

Still amazes me that anyone would buy a pencil from the guy let alone anything else after all of the issues... Glad you got your money back but it seems to be hit and miss. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. I don't think anyone has really questioned if the stuff works. Just the very shady business practices.

Yes this order has been complete and updated. Its a shame it took so long be we are on top of it all now.

If anyone has any problems relating to the product, let me know and I will be glad to help.

What you are stating was true for some customers orders before July 2013 when we had a large amount of orders and production issues.

Since July 2013 until now, all orders we have received have been shipped within a few days. If you need to criticize us and persistently make use look bad on every forum that contains "MimicsX2", please at least use a reference date eg. Before July 2013.

Also, refund requests were due to orders that didn't get received due to the issues we over 6 months ago. There have been no un-shipped order refund requests for 6 months since everyone that ordered received their MimicsX2.

I hope this clears up a few things.

Hi, To be honest.. You are the first person to request this feature. We havent come across any vehicles that have this built in.. If you have a sample of the touchscreen you can send us we will be more than happy to have a look at it. Obvously we will need to make a customer adapter for it, but thats no biggie.

It suppose to work on any Resistive touchscreen. I guess no one asked about this feature because not many people know that it is possible. However, as you can see from this link http://www.xda-developers.com/window...stive-screens/ it is actually possible. This would make work with maps and web browser much more convenient.

The link you referred seems incomplete. There is a few "...." that should be there

Dual point resistive is the cheaper alternative to capacitive. Saying that, we already support 7" capacitive.

Please send the correct link, and we will be sure to look at it and maybe we can support it.

There is now universal touch screen controller available for android, which works with any android (which supports HID devices) and 4-wire touch panels:
    http://car-solutions.com/en/universa...roller-utc.php

The controller does not need any drivers because it's a HID device. Compatible OS: Android 2.3-4.x.x, Windows 32\64 bit, Linux. You also don't need any additional software to set up/calibrate the controller – all adjustments are made in standalone mode, using a micro-button on the controller and a LED.
Costs only 50USD. I just ordered one.
