Hi, is the issue only with the stock rom on the Evo 4G? I have one of the rooted sense roms: Myn's warm 2.2 and am also using the HDMwIn app to mirror my phone. Would this setup work with the touchscreen kit? Thanks.

I had a similar monitor and a Galaxy S2 and I had a LOT of issues getting it to fit the monitor. The biggest issue is the VGA as its analog and the video coming out of the HDMI is digital. I tried 3 different HDMI - VGA adapters and none would center the display properly (not just cables that convert the ends but active converters like this one). I didn’t try HDMI to composite because I didn’t want to lose that much resolution but it may work. I ended up buying a monitor with HDMI in.
