I just checked and i'm running CM11 M9 snapshot on a 2013 Nexus 7 and so far everything is working great, well with the exception of the things I screw up.

Couple of more ideas is it possible to have music pause or mute while navigation apps audio is active(or prioritise audio per app) also I don't seem to be able to control music playback over Bluetooth don't know if its just my headset not working or if it does not work at all. I plan to stream to a car head unit over Bluetooth and hope to be able to control the app media playback via steering wheel controls connected to head unit.

I'll look into the music volume thing. I had at one point had it setup to "duck" when focus changes (that's how Android does it). But when I rewrote the music service I never got around to adding that code, it should be easy enough.
Bluetooth really doesn't work at all right now. Originally I had a phone companion app that would do bluetooth stuff because the Android bluetooth API is pretty limiting. It's one of those features that's on the list. I'm sure you know how it goes, I'm the only one coding, and a full time job, family obligations, lady friend, other things I want to do. It will take time.

As for the donation thing, I'll look into it. I don't want to break any MP3 car rules. Honestly when I started coding this thing, it was 100% for me and only me. But if others are using it and wanting it, that's awesome, keeps me motivated to keep going and improving.

Ok cool yea I plan to use a normal head unit for blutooth handsfree and mobile phone interfacing and just stream audio from carpc to head unit.

    Thanks bluc
That link is more for the Auto App Mart. But on that thread is another person with a donation link in their signature. So that's good enough for me. I haven't found anything saying not to do it. So link is now there. Thanks.

More info.. I tried it on another 4.2.2 device and I get the same result, but if I go to the notification window and click the BT hardware manager you launch with it.. The main home screen comes back

I am guessing there must be something going on when I click the buttons to update them.. maybe something there causing the screen to go blank

-=Jeff=- I have tried to reproduce this bug and can't chase it down. However I've been unable to get a 4.2.2 device to test with. I've only been able to get 4.3. I will keep working on it.
Right now I'm in the process of migrating to Gradle, and it's been an interesting journey. Once I'm happy that that has all worked I'm going to go ahead with those other features that have been requested as well as finish up some of the latest ones I've introduced.

Sounds good. I put 4.2.2 on one of my test devices if that'll help. I tried installing on Android L and the install failed. Not a big deal as I was just curious plus my DAC doesn't work in L yet.
