Excellent, I'll order a couple tonight and it looks like I'll have to order a redboard too, i'm gathering a nice Arduino collection over here. I still need to find a use for one of my Arduino Duemilanoves

Basically I unwarpped the black tape they had wrapped around the board and battery then cut the connections to the battery. Then just soldered on to that. You do have to be careful as the board is very thin and flexible. With the surface mounted parts all it takes is the right or wrong amount of flex and connections can be broken. In my testing I saw that the 3.8 volt battery was getting 4.28 volts when the usb charger was plugged in so I set the voltage of my regulator to ~4.29. I did notice that when you use the battery board that upon first connection to power you need to plug in the usb charger. That'll signal the battery board to apply power. After that you're good to go. This was all done on a 2013 Nexus 7 but I don't think the 2012 is all that different with regards to the battery and how the board works.

Before you go and purchase another board, you can burn the bootloader on your Duemilanove to Optiboot (if it has a 328p chip) turning into an UNO

Here's what the inside of the table looks like with the battery board along with the back of the button boards on the sides. I have a cover that fits over all of this so when everything is together no electronics are visible.

Installed my backup camera, easycap USB video capture device with reverse camera and carcam app. Camera is not great but it works.

Watch "Easycap Reverse Cam Android" on YouTube

Nice, It seems to switch quick enough too. I have to see if easycap will work with my Nexus.

    eric,

I got my redboard, basic starter kit, I am out of town this week for work, so I will take it with and start playing with it. I have a project planned for an Arduino, it would be separate from the tablet..

    that_kid,

What MiniDSP board are you using? I have the Behringer UCA-202 as my USB DAC, I am curious on the output voltage of your amps. I was using a Phoenix Line Driver, but it has a bad channel (took out a 4" speaker) anyway I need to replace it as the UCA output is not enough to the amps. I have a coupel ideas but more info on your stuff might help ( I am looking at the Audio control Matrix or Overdrive) and use their remote volume control..

I'm using the MiniDSP 2X8 along with their digi-fp which makes it the same as their MiniDSP-4x10-hd. The RCA outputs provide 2V RMS but the Phoenix connector can provide 4V RMS unbalanced or 8V RMS balanced. My amps don't have balanced inputs so I use the unbalanced output from the Phoenix connector. With the carpc I was using a Delta 1010lt.

    Hey guys.
As I've been building the Arduino pin editor, I've kinda stuck on how you think it should work. It would be easy to setup each pin as (example) an output, and have a button that toggles the pin manually. Input pins could be setup for things like temperature sensors, and other widgets that I can add. But I'm wondering about things more automatic.

I'm trying to figure out other triggers, things like music playback to turn on your amp? Or, power up your ECU when the tablet has booted?

Are there any specific triggers that you guys want?
I will add what I can come up with, but at the moment, that's about it.
