Digital Car for Android Alpha 0.2 coming soon....
Looking very nice. Any chance of this being open sourced on GitHub or the like?
I'll try it out on my 2012 Nexus 7 once I get back home.

Thanks for your comments. I intend to put it as a paid app in the Play store eventually so I won't be releasing the code for obvious reasons. I will however offer any help I can in other ways.
I've now got it pausing and resuming music when navigation it talking or you swap over to Tunein app or similar. Just finished the power code off. At the moment when it's powered it keeps the screen on, if you remove the power it pauses the music and releases the screen. Then, it all depends how long you have your screen set to. The lowest is 15 seconds before it enters sleep. When power then is reconnected, it turns your screen on and starts playing. :-) Ideal for a tablet in the car.
pretty neat. Don't get why the speedometer in the middle though, most car has a speedometer in-front of the driver on the cluster
Hi Jeunefred, I get what your saying, it might be from my days I used to do skins for Roadrunner or whatever it' called these days... Having a speedo on the screen then meant you had kudos.. lol
Anyway, feel free to try this version.. I've updated the first post with a new link :-)
Awsome app. When using pandora on galaxyy s3 it says dogital car has stopped. When i pause pandora and ezit digital car resumes. Is there a way to have digital car to remain running in background?
Hi fella, I did release an updated version late last night that might of fixed your problem. If you've just downloaded it in the last few hours, then I'll need to take a look. The Pandora I can see is a gallery / video / image view which I'm guessing is wrong as I thought Pandora was a music stream program.. maybe because I'm in the UK? hmm this might make it tricky to debug.
Let me know.....
I've tested out the latest version and I like where you're going with it.
When I try to choose a program for one of the eight shortcut slots the program locks up and crashes out. It only crashes once I've scrolled down seven rows.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3 (T999) 4.1.2 rooted.
That's right, you just got passed by a computerized toaster...
So just to confirm, you click on one for the 8 preset buttons and the selection of icons appear. Then when you try to scroll down it crashes? Does it crash the same when you just click on the app button on the top right next to the android menu button ?
