The screen is a custom LCD controller that is VIN matched to the car and only works on the Pontiac G8. It was created by Folcik Engineering. Here is a link:

Vegas, that's a really nice ARM system you've got there (the ipad). Very impressed with the hvac controls too.

hvac controls are the next thing on my list of things to reverse engineer on my vehicle. Something tells me it isn't going to be easy...

Everytime I see your install, it makes me want to go buy a G8. I'd try to get the GXP though but maybe there aren't as many aftermarket mods for it?
