Hello and thank you very much!! I actually just checked mp3car.com with a random and sudden feeling in my stomach that someone might have created a new mac front end in the weeks that i haven't paid attention to the mac subforum!!

I second that it would be great to have an hd radio implemented into the software. Also, it would be great to see a real good and usable on screen keyboard and the ability to read/send txts as well. Btw, I would love to be a beta tester for this frontend for both ipad/mac ppc and intel, thanks again!

iPad app would suit me fine. Long time windows centrafuse user here, I purchased the iPad hoping something like this would happen. I plan on pulling out my windows car PC and replacing it with the iPad anyway. I agree with others who have said Turn-by-turn GPS navigation is a must, iTunes Library integration is a must.

I'm in South Australia and would love to assist with beta testing also.

    Bring it on!

I'm tentatively planning on being at afkfest with an iPad install in my car. We're going to show off the connected car concept. If you guys want to demo something beta on the iPad at afkfest, let me know.

hey guys just wanted to give an update with the development. We are currently so busy with contract work that we have pushed our in house development to the back. So what this means is yes the apps for MacCar will come but they will not come within the time specified in my first post. We are also working on our new website so that all BETA and purchase of licenses can be seamless.

Thank you for making some kind of committment to the Mac side of carputing. I'm currently using CF, and am kinda underwhelmed given the price. A featured Mac FrontEnd combined with the form factor of the Mac Mini should hopefully prove to be a force in the carputing universe.

Bring a decent product to market, and we will buy it.
