You need an OBD reader and an app that will work on your iPad to interpret the codes from the OBD reader.
Hi everyone.
This is my first post so be nice if the questions is basic.
I would like to purchase an Apple iPad and use it in my car as an MP3 and movie source. But I would also like to connect it to my OBD sensor to show all my basic car functions.
What do I need to do this?
What gear? and what programs.
I'm not very computer savy, but I will try to manage.
My car is a 2000 Dodge Neon.
Thanks for the help.

Easiest way is to get the PLX devices kiwi wifi adapter and purchase Rev2.0. You are looking at a cost of around $200 in addition to the Ipad itself.
I use the Plex Kiwi Wifi with Rev 2.0 with my ipad works great see my ipad install video for a demo.
