    iPad installed in my Chevy Silverado

    I finally finished this project and would like to get some feedback. Check out the video I posted below....

    Thats actually pretty cool how you made the actuator idea...... Bugbyte was looking to do something, maybe this can work for him too!

    You did a really good job of showing a lot of car friendly apps. (minus the movie ones) Not a lot of iPad videos have done this.

    Are you jailbroken? I'm guessing yes.
    And what app is that that lets you stream movies in theaters?

    Very, very impressive install and cool video to boot, thanks!

    I've seen Soundhound and Flick Tunes in there, the gesture based control for the itunes? Also UnlimVideos too, via Cydia.

    Very well done! I'm looking at a tilt forward/backward portrait style dash installation. Do you mind giving me the source for the linear actuator? I might want to use one for that. Haven't decided yet.

    The ipad is jailbroken and the App for in theater movies is called UnlimVideos which is found in Cydia or Rock.

    I used: Pandora, SlingPlayer, Whistle, UnlimVideos, Beatmaker, FlickTunes, SoundHound, and Activator to set the different gestures.

    I got it from Progressive Automations, here's the link: http://progressiveautomations.com/mi...-/prod_44.html

    It is strong enough for any car application since it is the 15 lb actuator, but it is a little large. So you have to plan out how you will fit it behind the dash...
