    I wouldn't mind a j/b only app at all. I can't wait to j/b mine.

I just want it to have as much economic sense as possible so that it keeps being updated. So whatever works for you Krillin47.

Thanks. It's true, if I get good reviews when it's out, updates will for sure be done.

How was everyones holiday? I had a great 2 weeks to get me caught up on things so that I can focus more time to this project, so look for more updates coming soon.

I'm looking forward to this as well, although I'm currently not an iPad owner. I find it more logical at this point in time to wait for the updated version that is due out in February. One suggestion that I realize isn't possible now, is the addition of controls for the camera that is suppose to come as part of the iPad in the new release.

That definitely looks like its going to be quite expensive..and with the possibility of manufacturers including it into they're vehicles, it kind of wrecks the whole novelty part for me. The purpose of these systems is to have what very few others have.

I am sure it will be a very expensive add on but nothing more than that. I don't believe that any car manufacturer will ever include a third party product like the iPad that they would have to purchase to put in the vehicle. Not to mention that the interface is an application on a device that can be used as much more than a radio and controls for the car. I do not believe that the DOT will approve a car with that setup road legal.

I meant that the app they made for the interface is basically the app we are all asking for. I do think it is interesting however that they are using bluetooth for the same purpose we are using the sheeva plug.

I found another product, I think it will be cheaper ..

It have Turner FM/AM built in, Bluetooth, 4x55W, Handsfree, subwoofer control, a video out.. and of course access to all of your iPhone apps (internet radio, travel itineraries, GPS, Google Maps™, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio™, Tripit, GasBuddy, BeatTheTraffic, RepairPal, etc)

    Pros:
    - This saves at least , amplifier, car kit, FM.
    - Installation is more neat and simple.
    Cons:
    - needs a single DIN space.
    - Can not control the Iphone from the 7" touch screen!
