Awesome optikalefx. I have all sorts of ideas on how to incorporate many different things with the sheeva plug. That could help to give a reverse cam stream to the ipad, not to mention other possibilities of devices that could be plugged in to it.

What are some things that you guys have used the sheeva plug for? I want to see what ideas I could incorporate into the app.
Ok. Here is a start at the interface. This is only photoshopped and will look much better when I have a full idea, as I'll be handing it off to my graphic designer.
What do you think?
whats the bottom trackpad looking thing for? Gesture area maybe?
I definitely don't think a gesture area is a good idea. You should do what activator does for jailbroken iOSes. Where you can assign full screen gestures. That way you can any number of things, without looking at any part of the screen. Its much safer and way easier to do more complex gestures.
Works for me. I wasn't sure if I liked it anyway. I'll work on adding more to it and taking out the gesture box, and upload something tonight/tomorrow.
What are your plans to integrate gps / odb and alike?
Consider having panels on the sides and bottom of the screen that only show about a 1/4 inch of the side. That you can slide over on it to slide the panel out.
Its like tabs, on 3 sides of the screen, each tab would basically be a micro app.
I've been working on the design for a front end as well. I have no programming skills but I am decent with photoshop. I'll upload some of my design ideas later today. I have some ideas that I would like to incorporate into a front end but I'm not sure that it is possible with the iPad yet.
