Where can developers announce new apps that are available in the app store? What is the right forum to do this?
So one thought we had is that threads will be automatically created whenever an app is created. And in the Auto App Mart section those threads would live. They would also post updates to apps automatically and when certain milestones are achieved they are are also automatically posted.
Did you have anything special in mind where you would want to announce your apps?
something to the effect of a "New App Forum" where the author can post screenshots and give a more detailed description or a howto. That could be nice. If the store automatically generated a stub for that with screenshots, that'd be awesome.
Well since the app mart already holds all the screenshots and description etc.. we can use that info in the post.
We could ALSO have an extra field in the app mart called "Announcement" which would be custom text (in a smart editor so you can use html) that will show up in the first post.
