I think I was missunderstood. It is nothing to do with the floating point. It is only the amount of data of processing. However, it is the best frontend for Mappoint that I have ever saw. Maybe it is the time for a poll

Agreed but it is coming along nicely and the updates are quick.Originally Posted by Arathranar

Updates to AutoTouch are coming along as fast as folks ask for stuff. And it works now. Last time I tried RR it didn't work as well with only a touch screen. ID on't want to have to have a keyboard around, and further more I don't want to have to use anything more than the touch screen to use the app, which was the design philosphy behind AutoTouch.
I'm open to suggestions for new development as you can see from responses to this forum, if they're quick I usually turn them around in a day or two, if not (like the stuff to be able to write plug-ins) it takes some planning, but they do get done.
The impediment to active development now is someone actually wanting things done. From the forum there aren't too many folks actually using this stuff now, I'm not sure what they want, if I was I could look at adding it.
The on current one I need to do is a *foo* search instead of the current foo* search.

Hi,
Another request (if it not another settings that it could be possible in XML): could it be done in such way to not rotate the map if there is no move.
For example: after going some while on the local roads you are stopping to the traffic lights (or in a jam traffic). Could it be possible to keep the last heading of the map before waiting in jam or traffic light?
Thanks,
Tolum
Post Edit: As condition to use a speed limit; do not rotate the map and keep the last heading direction if the speed is less than 5 km per hour
Done.
I'll have a new version out this evening with that in it. Makes sense. I already check to see if the rotation is more than 3 degrees before I bother redrawing the rotation, this make as much sense if not more.

You need both. My GPS reports huge changes in direction when stationary due to the random walk it seems to do. The rotated map then jumps around through the full 360 degress at random.Originally Posted by Gremlin

Hi Raman,
Is the www.sarinarts.com down?
Regards,
Tolum
Post Edit: The new version of autotouch is on the website as msi package? I am asking this because the Autotouch.exe date is from february 2005.
I can see SarinArts.Com however I haven't uploaded the new version yet, why? It completely slipped my mind to do this! I'll try and get it done sometime today, I'll even send myself a not to remind myself, sorry about that.
