Destinator is made by Intrinsic Software. Destinator 9 is cross platform, not only supporting Windows but also iphone, android, and linux. There is now a Destinator nav store to visit and download a free trial. After 14 days of a free trial, you still get free map browsing but not turn by turn navigation. The maps range around $30. There is a 3D version of points of interest, and there are now double the POI with 4 million, lane guidance and speed limits, real renderings of highway and exit signs. There is a new rendered for the maps so that the text is crisp and clearer. Coming soon are social networks and user generated content. You will be able to see MySpace/Facebook contacts on the maps as well as their most recent tweet.

I think so. I also guess it's a work in progress.

Cost To Ship CarWhen driving to and from work, navigation isn't very important to me *unless* it ties in with live traffic and automatically reroutes around traffic distortion. Navit is in the very early stages of being able to do this, which is pretty cool. Now we just need OSDash to feed us the info and we are in business.Does this mean CF will finally get a updated NAV system? If so, I hope it still doesnt have that bad routing that it had in 5 and 6.
