Gary, aka chunkyks from the mp3car forums talks about his experience with the sheeva plug and his OBD 2 GPS logging software. He received the plug from mp3Car and submitting his application which ended up winning an award and thus a trip to CES.

I would have been interested in August haha. Right now my python code is working great and what I've learned about the 3g connection is don't f*** with it. I've screwed that up a few too many times. Thanks for the offer though.Great video.
I have some c# code I wrote over the summer that talks with NetworkManager to turn on/off the gsm connection. If that interests you I can share. You may not want to run mono on your plug though. The crappy part will be setting up the initial connection via commandline. There is a cli interface for network manager now, so that shouldn't be too difficult. You have to do the same for proximity to work with wifi connections to APs as well...And it was all because mp3car mailed me a plug!
I don't look too awful in that video! I'm surprised and pleased!
