Warning: This gets quite complex.
At the 2010 Detroit Telematics Show, Scott from QNX explains why its not so simple to have audio and voice recognition in the car. There are a plethora of problems on both the receiving and sending end of a phone call that need to be dealt with their own algorithms.

LOL thats what I thought. So its basically what we have already fixed. Why are these companies so far behind us? They need to sign up with MP3Car forums so they can keep up. Shame on you Robert for making us endure him pointing out all his blocks on the screen. Now I know where to go if I cant sleep. No more sleeping pills for me, listening to Scott for QNX is much faster.

Ohhhh good god this guy put me to sleep. I still don't understand what it is though. Is this similar to what most of the CF users are doing with the SOHO Phoenix mod?
