The best bezel to put it in when space is tight, is this one:

It is Bybyte's double din frame. Then mod that to fit the space in your dash.
The crap part about this screen when pulled apart doesn't fit into he Mechatroniks bezel

Does anyone know if Patrick the maker of the Mechatroniks Subaru bezel is still around, numerous emails has failed to reach him

Can the ABS front screen bezel by MoCoSo fit onto the Mechatroniks bezel chassis?
They should offer this panel with an optional capacitive type touch screen sensor. Then they would blow away the competition.

I bought this same 7" Lilliput screen with the Hi-Brite option and HDMI input, and the touch panel was just like any other resistive type panel and I didn't like it, so I got a 7" capacitive touch screen sensor (made by 3M), and it came with the correct USB controller and the driver disk. I installed this new 3M panel onto my Lilliput LCD panel in a double-DIN dash kit (tore the stock monitor apart to get the parts for the double-DIN kit), and it works so much better than the old one. It feels just like the screen on my smartphone (is made out of real glass), and I have it running on Windows 7 for now, but the 3M site does have Linux drivers for both 2.4 and 2.6 kernels (although I have not tried it on Linux yet myself). I have not even installed my carputer into my car yet, so all my testing is still just on the bench so far, but capacitive is nice. I also found a 10.1" kit is available that would fit my Asus Eee netbook, which I might someday try a retrofit on as well.

I just thought I'd share this as a suggestion to the manufacturer (in case they ever monitor this thread), but also thought I'd share it just in case others may want to know that it is not very hard to switch over to a true capacitive screen. Any hobbyist type can do the swap. You should know however, that if you want it to be in the stock monitor case, you may have to make some mod to the LCD panel mounting brackets (like bend them a bit), to compensate for the extra thickness of the capacitive screen (it is glass, so it is thicker than the stock sensor). It's around 1/16" thick.
