MeeGo for the car pc was just released a few weeks ago. The platform has an excellent boot time. Nasa is looking forward to the development of this open sources platform.

I think second prize is a bit of a problem, because there hasn't been a map update for Australia/most of the world for...well...ever.
Not true! We will have updated Australia maps pretty soon. Should be for sale well before the holidays, but we'll have to see. We don't have 'em yet.
