This Visteon system runs the Genivi platform and Meego. Lighttdb has been integrated. You can use a web browser to control the Visteon system, which interfaces with the vehicle bus, leaving control possibilities limitless.

Visteon uses an Android operating system in this proof of concept to illustrate the possibilities of what you might see in near future of in-vehicle computing. The Android OS used in this concept limits the apps used to only those conducive to in-vehicle computing for safety.
