After spotting some discussion of this product on the forums, we looked into it further. If our forum members are interested in it, then it’s usually worth some follow-up. We discovered an amazing product that is as useful as it is impressive. It’s a software/hardware combination that allows a user to remotely control major functions of their vehicle from anywhere via a mobile device or computer. Anywhere G2 can turn your car on or off from anywhere you have access to your smartphone, allowing you to warm it up in the morning before you get in it, or to cut the power if an unauthorized driver is operating it. Other functions include the ability to lock and unlock doors and to track the vehicle’s position and speed. That’s already an impressive lineup of features, but we thought we’d put our forum members to the test (again).

I can begin to imagine a world where we manipulate computers instead of interact with them. This idea of being able to navigate the computer world, and have the computer understand space is not new, but its not accomplished.
If it really is possible to get this type of system in a laptop say, without gloves, (even with gloves is fine with me) then we could see the next serious change in computer-human interfaces.
Imagine what it would be like to create a 3d model of say a car, and be able to sculpt the model as if it was real. Even have some kind of actual feedback so you still get the feeling. But then you ask, why is going so digital so important. Well, sure a clay model is great, but having the history, having the undo ability, having multiple collaborators around the world, all these are possible in a digital world.

- a concept will be complete if it states what the app does, how it will do it, and how it leverages MeeGo and Qt.
- Once the winner is selected, it is expected that the app be developed within 1-2 months.
- please note that this can be an existing app with significant improvements and changes;

The two new Lilliput high brightness models are noticeably brighter in all lighting conditions than the standard Lilliput 669. Reflection on the standard Lilliput 669 is slightly higher. The new Lilliput models offer nice improvements over the standard Lilliput 669 for their respective prices. The Inelmatic monitor is noticeably brighter than all compared monitors in all lighting conditions. Contrast appears better and colors are noticeably more vivid with the Inelmatic. The Inelmatic also benefits from increased vibration, shock, and operating environment specs.
In addition to brightness differences, The Lilliput 5HB model features a 5-wire resistive touch panel that assures more precise touch control. The HB-RV model uses the standard 4-wire resistive touch panel, but includes an exposed wire for auto-switching to a backup camera. The 5HB model has a slightly different touch panel design that doesn’t allow it to fit in our double din frame. The HB-RV model does fit in our double din frame and can be fabricated into any one of our direct fit dash kits.
