Rob Wray from mp3Car takes a look at a custom laser touch screen notebook computer by Ampire. This touch screen panel is capacitive and multi-touch. The niche is that the LCD is is made to detect light from the laser. Therefore you can get very accurate touches on a screen built with this technology, as well as touch the screen from as far as the laser can go.
At the Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) Boston Rob Wray from mp3Car spoke to representatives from the PC manufacturer MSI which makes this ultra thin computer. This computer packs 4 usb prots, laptop hard drive, 2 lan ports, 3 mini pci slots, and 2 wireless antennas into a case less than an inch thin. Wow!

Rob Wray from mp3Car talks with MaxBob about his car installation. He has fabricated his own semi-circular dash extension to re-locate the face plate of his radio. He has actually left the radio installed, and just moved the face plate that way he can put the 7 inch touch screen in place while not losing his FM radio.
