    DCDC-USB is a high power intelligent DC-DC converter. This unit accepts any input ranging from 6-34V. Output is 12V regulated or output can be changed with simple jumper settings to 5V, 6V, 9V, 12V, 13.5V, 18V or 24V or via USB in fine increments (0.25V) anywhere from 5-24V.

    Visteon is using an Intel reference design made by Kongatec for their vehicle computing system. One of their demo computers is using Centrafuse and Microsoft Automotive. Centrafuse has been customized in terms of graphics and plugins to demonstrate internet connectivity to access information such as traffic, weather and Pandora. The plugins are currently prototypes and not for sale.

    The new resistive multi-touch technology from TransTouch allowed for up to two finger touch. They are 8% dimmer than capacitive touchscreens, but cost 10% less. You can use the resistive touchscreens with a glove on your hand. We were also able to get the controller board for the resistive multi-touch screen on camera.

    Destinator is made by Intrinsic Software. Destinator 9 is cross platform, not only supporting Windows but also iphone, android, and linux. There is now a Destinator nav store to visit and download a free trial. After 14 days of a free trial, you still get free map browsing but not turn by turn navigation. The maps range around $30. There is a 3D version of points of interest, and there are now double the POI with 4 million, lane guidance and speed limits, real renderings of highway and exit signs. There is a new rendered for the maps so that the text is crisp and clearer. Coming soon are social networks and user generated content. You will be able to see MySpace/Facebook contacts on the maps as well as their most recent tweet.

    The keyboard PC is a brushed aluminum keyboard with a control panel built in on the side. It is a fully functioning pc. It lends itself to home entertainment - you can stream viedo form your coach up to a 15' range. There is an Intel Atom processor and 1gb of memory. There is up to 32 gb of solid state storage for multimedia. It is semi ruggedized with no moving parts and it is designed to move around. There is an antenna for ultra wideband. You can send content to your TV from the keyboard. The battery life is four hours. Retail price will be $599 and it will be available in March on Newegg, Amazon and other online stores.
