Getting a new boat soon :D:D

Hello everybody im dr nick j/k lol

After 30 years of life we are saying goodbye to our good ol princecraft 16' with and Omc engine. It is now time for a new boat , for those who live in Canada and own a boat prices arent always what they should be so my family and i are going on a trip aaaaaallll the way to Texas to get ourselves a nice deal.

All this just to ask : What kind of boats do you guys drive or have driven??

And please watch out for hurricane damaged/salvaged boats. I hear there are thousands of them out in the neighborhood and not all sellers are honest.

That's right.. I forgot to answer your question. My brother built a twenty-something-foot boat back in the 80s.. His design included options for a sail as well as some big-*** oars, but we just bolted up the outboard and putted around on the Hudson river.

    Aah, those were the days..

My parents have a 21' Sea Pro and I have a 14' Carolina Skiff J-series.

The sea pro is great with the exception of the wiring... but seriously....its a boat. what can you really expect. my dad is stepping WAY up in the 27' range. We're thinking either May-Craft 27 or Sailfish 26. But you have to remember, even with todays technology...somethings gonna break quick...its boating. lol
