I just received one Saturday. I've loaded the drivers but hadn't yet loaded RideRunner. Malcom, I was checking out RevFE to see if it supported it as I wanted to feature it in my video!

Yeah besides what we saw at AFK fest, this is the first time I've actually heard much about these units, so I haven't really had a chance to implement anything at all. If it's not an entire dissimilar protocol from the Visteon HD radio it should be fairly easy to put support in for it.... When I say Linux, I mean Linux and Mac of course btw![]()

I'd love to test it as soon as Mitch builds the modular boomsbox/xmd interface with audio over USB.
HINT, HINT
HARDWARE: Fujitsu Stylistic ST5111w/WiFi and dock, internal Hitachi 500G HD, external 1TB HD, Sierra Wireless Aircard 550, DVD-RW, BoomzBox HD radio, XM Commander, Delorme GPS, Saitek X-52 Pro joystick, BluSoleil Bluetooth, TPMS, FB, Elm327
the boomzbox IS audio over usb. And it works succesfully in RR and CF. I'm finishing my review today.

Mitch, having trouble with getting the hardware SC-C1 recognized. It recognizes the audio device but can't locate the drivers for SC-C1. What am I doing wrong?

Not really (Unless you're using c# of course :P), USB itself is fairly easy, and if it's a known USB DAC chip there might already be a Linux audio driver for it. I'm curious if it uses a separate virtual COM, usb control messages, or what for the actual HD radio control and RDS/HD-Text returns. I didn't get a chance to look at the actual hardware, but once they go on sale and I manage to afford one I'll open it up and find out :-D
