i am not familiar with the boomzbox, or its setup, but..

do you get audio from other sources on the rear speakers?

typically, this is a motherboard audio setup issue, so try checking the audio setup of your motherboard-- sometimes it is called "enable rear fill"

If you can, pull your speaker out and check it w/ a DMM, and also check your leads to see if you're getting AC power to your speaker. Chances are, it's not the HD Radio tuner's fault

soundman98, has it right, its ONLY 2 channel audio... just like just about all other audio (mp3s and such, not counting MOVIES with 5.1 surround) its how the sound card handles playback of two channel audio...

yes some sort of enable rear fille...

what audio system do you have?
    -Thanks

he asked me about that before purchase and i told him the same thing. Its a 2-channel device, and whether or not it plays to all speakers is 100% dependent on your audio drivers and hardware.

if i am not mistaken, VAC is only going to be usefull if the OP uses a program like console($50) or audio mulch($150)-- neither of which are cheap when compared to the $5 in splitters that will do the same thing..

or am i missing something with VAC?

I do get sound from the rear speakers when playing other music... I also have the Directed HD radio box and that works fine thru all speakers. Iíve tried all different ways to setup the sound properties. Iím in away sorry that I purchased this product, i didnít have this much headache with the Directed HD. I was just trying to save the line-in spot for something else. i think maybe the drivers for the boomzbox need to be looked at to see if that the problem

monteiro51, its all on how your audio system on your pc works...
i know i answered this in another thread... i cant remember where
but since you didnt tell us what kind on audio system you got
i will assume Realtek HD Audio

keep in MIND, MOST AUDIO is 2 channel, RIGHT and LEFT!
radio is stereo, 2 channels... right and left!

no rear, like in a modern movie...

so... if you want rear sounds, you have to tell something on the pc how to do it
in REAL car stereos they use a "FADER" to split the same 2 channels to 4 channels
    -Thanks

It is the Realtek HD Audio system. I understand that I have to tell the system how to handle
the 2 channel audio but I don't have the same problems with other sounds. Iíll just have to play around with it a little bit more or just use a y cable one for front and one for rear
