I think I'm good there, but I'll validate that I have this particular 2140 coming on prior to the main 2140 that powers my mobo comes on (via the delay on setting on the PSU). They both trigger off the same ACC line.

Had some time to finally document my setup, btw...kept on forgetting how I had it setup..lol.

All the other stuff in the wiring diagram is hidden. One picture I don't have: in glove box, mounted on the top of it - slot load DVD...looks real nice, and preserves all of the space in there.

Now, I'm on to Win7 challenges...I'll start a thread about that, not having a great time there

I am disappointed. I really thought this thread would help. It started out with my same problem...but with ALL applications, not just CF. No sound at all, but the radio is working.

Then people just started saying that it worked in CF, but I never understood why.

I posted a new thread in the forum asking this. I hope someone can help.

No SOUND. Definite Codec Problem. Help!

REMEMBER 1st time you plug it in, windows thinks you want to playback your audio though this device, which of course you cant, reset your DEFAULT PLAYBACK DEVICE


start with the simplest BoomzboxHD Software, supplied on the CD
Install it...

run it, and it should automaticly find the device, if it doesnt
right click, setting, enable audio engine, enable monitor, pick USB Audio CODEC
