Thread: Power Antenna mod?

radio is on is vague...

example, in RideRunner and Centrafuse, the radio is ALWAYS ON

its a question of is it ACTIVE, then you would want to raise/lower your antenna
(if you actually have an electric telescoping antenna, cars dont have them anymore)
so if its a non telescoping power antenna, ie AMPLIFIED, just power it when pc is on, or when key is in accessory... no need to overcomplicate

For some reason I could have sworn that Centrafuse 3.1 turns the radio on when I press the radio button (I thought I could hear the relay).
The power telescoping antenna in question is for a MKIV Toyota Supra.

yes...it does.. but it wont turn it off, till app closes or suspend or such
once on, stays on, and if radio was last source... it should start up with it on

hmm, since u got a telescoping ant, yea.. u need some sort of relay, triggered by the CF, when radio is "ACTIVE" not sure how to do that in CF
need a usb...relay

prob could make a simple plugin to CF3.1 to do it

simple serial port commands

Well, I could, if I knew C#. The plugin does sound easy, select a COMM port and register an even trigger for the radio state.

oh, man its easy in c#
(i could/would do it in like 5 mins)
(since i already have plugin for my UAS4 for cf3.1

you know, this guy, in blugaria(sp) has something else i want...
if you want to toss $34 at it let me know
